$62,000-$72,000 + Overtime

Day Shift | 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM | 50-Hour Work Week

This is an excellent opportunity for a Quality Control professional with steel fabrication and welding inspection experience to play a key role in ensuring products meet customer and industry standards.

What You'll Do

• Perform quality inspections on in-process and finished steel products
• Conduct visual weld inspections in accordance with AWS D1.1 standards
• Perform Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
• Complete dimensional audits and verify product specifications
• Maintain inspection documentation and quality records
• Identify and report non-conforming products
• Partner with production teams to uphold quality standards and resolve issues
• Train and educate employees on quality requirements and best practices

What We're Looking For

• Experience in the steel fabrication or structural steel industry
• Hands-on experience inspecting welds
• Knowledge of AWS D1.1 standards
• CWI Certification highly preferred
• UT and/or MT Level I or II certifications strongly preferred
• Ability to read drawings and use inspection and measuring equipment
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Experience with DOT standards is a MUST
