Position Overview

As a CDL Passenger Transport Driver , you will safely operate passenger vehicles while providing exceptional customer service and dependable transportation. You'll be responsible for ensuring passengers travel comfortably and safely while supporting the daily success of our transportation operations.

Responsibilities of a CDL Passenger Transport Driver:

Safe Passenger Transportation

• Operate CDL passenger vehicles safely and professionally.
• Transport passengers along assigned routes and schedules.
• Ensure timely arrivals and departures while maintaining safety standards.
• Follow all traffic laws, transportation regulations, and company policies.
• Adapt safely to changing traffic, weather, and road conditions.
• Maintain a strong commitment to passenger safety at all times.

Customer Service Excellence

• Welcome passengers with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Assist riders with questions regarding routes, schedules, and destinations.
• Provide support for passengers with mobility or accessibility needs.
• Ensure passengers board and exit vehicles safely.
• Deliver a comfortable, respectful, and positive transportation experience.
• Represent the zTrip brand with professionalism and courtesy.

Vehicle Inspections & Maintenance

• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Operate wheelchair lifts, ramps, and accessibility equipment when required.
• Report maintenance concerns, damage, or safety issues promptly.
• Complete inspection reports and required documentation accurately.
• Help ensure vehicles remain safe, compliant, and service-ready.

Communication & Operations Support

• Maintain communication with dispatch and operations teams.
• Report delays, route changes, or service concerns promptly.
• Support operational efficiency through accurate updates and reporting.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure dependable service.
• Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications of a CDL Passenger Driver:

Required

• Valid CDL Class B License or Higher.
• Passenger (P) Endorsement.
• Safe driving record.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.
• Commitment to safety and professionalism.

Preferred

• Experience operating shuttle buses, transit vehicles, motor coaches, or passenger transportation services.
• Experience assisting passengers with accessibility needs.
• Knowledge of transportation safety procedures and regulations.
• Background in customer service, hospitality, transportation, or public service.
• Experience working in a fast-paced operational environment.
